By popular demand we've had Mrs Patmore and Daisy working away in the kitchen to help prepare Afternoon Tea at Market Pavilion! Join us for a combined afternoon tea and screening here at Market Pavilion. We'll entice you with an exclusive Afternoon Tea ahead of your screening of the iconic Downton Abbey: The Grande Finale - the film we have all been waiting for – however we do encourage you to bring a friend of course! “There is nothing simpler than avoiding people you don’t like. Avoiding one’s friends, that's the real test.” You are cordially invited to join his lord and lady in the lounge at 1pm where the downstairs staff will gracefully entreat you to afternoon tea with a cast featuring: - Freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream - A selection of sandwiches with classic fillings such as – Egg Mayonnaise, Smoked Ham & Chutney, Cream Cheese & Cucumber - Chocolate Cake and pouring cream All served with a pot of Ringtons Tea (or a coffee if you prefer) *A low gluten option is also available and we have a full allergens folder available behind the bar. Following this please make your way upstairs to our luxurious, all recliner screen 2 for 2pm for a screening of DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE. Your ticket price includes the afternoon tea and screening, why not really push the boat out and upgrade to a sparkling afternoon tea, with a glass of English Sparkling wine from the Silverhand Estate for just £5 more.
